I got told that Tekkie Town van Huysteen and PRASA Ferreira will be supporting her so it looks like she will be ok.

Not much to be read into this, i think its just lovely simply lovely that racing rallies round and helps one of its own. Its just co incidence but these are 2 independent owners and support is much needed.

I think Tara is a top trainer but just wondering why no love here for Joe Soma ? No matter what his allegiances are or were for me he is a trainer that did exceptionally well for Mayfair and he was not given the best stock from that corporation - Surely he too needs to get some support? I have always thought highly of him as a trainer(he has a top strike rate with a small string) and I do recall him being very open about his horses and free with info to the public when interviewed - I doubt I agree with his views on Racing over the last few years but I do know he is sick for the game as much as most of us are

.....as Joey would say....are you gai making.....most know that poor Joe is going to battle to replace the dozen or more I am told.....Jooste horses.....Joe was in a fairly unique position in that he had what I term a "pick and pay" arrangement.....in that he was able to pick the horses he thought would be competitive.....and the Jooste outfit would pay for them.....

I am sincere - I interviewed Joe when he got a mad weaver from Azzie and got the horse to win a good few when he started out and my respect for his ability started there(before he had Special Preview maybe 25 years ago or more) -
That he actually picked them just reinforces my judgment of him - (the first horse I ever owned was actually bought by Joe and the deal fell through and we ened up owning him - won first time out and was a 2 time winner from 7 starts ) - he did not have those telephone number horses in his yard like some of the bigger trainers that MJ used - And he is a damned good form studier which is more than many other trainers who don't understand that you have to study form to place your horse
