I am shocked by Wainstein saying that Jooste has only done good things for tbe sport. He is a shortsighted nitwit. Has he not considered appreciated the harm that Jooste has done to horse racing and most importantly all the future harm. Jooste used racing for his illegal machinations. The sport has changed forever. People will lose jobs. He has affected at least 100 grooms and 20 stables. Jooste has to be the worst thing that ever has happened to horse racing. Wainstein was Joostes henchman. He finds himself in his position because of Jooste. I have no doubt that through all investigations he will be shown to be as bad as Jooste is for horse racing. By Wainstein singing the praises of Jooste, he has shown that he has no idea about leadership or diplomacy. He has brought the sport into disrepute.

No. This is no victory for Jooste, in fact its probably the worst possible news that he could have received. What the judge has in essence ruled is that it would be unfair for him to grant the application as there are far more institutions that deserve a bite at the cherry and that a full liquidation hearing needed to be heard.

What needs to be understood here, is that if the liquidation is granted, it will be backdated to the notice signed on the notice of motion. So iF the order is granted on the new date in January, it will be effective from last week sometime when ABSA filed the original application.

People buying racehorses should be aware of this, as should the racing managers doing the bidding as legal recourse will be undertaken should the liquidators feel that unrealistic prices were obtained.

.....Larry is a true sport....so substitute "the sport".....with "Larry".... The quote then reads.....
"He has only done good things for Larry".......

.....funny that both these people being quoted have a common denominator.....Ms Hartley was not in this role at the TBA when the 'massive contributor almost put them out of business .....

Muhtiman - You miss a bigger common dinominator - Joe Soma - Tainer and good fried of Larry - Mss Hartley - Creater of Imagine Racing with Miss / Mrs Soma - two very bad examples to ask that question to by the interviewer . What were they going to say about the Man took them off the ground and changed their lives.

....Warren this was the common denominator I was trying to be cryptic about.....the big question is.....why are people like these.....still pandering to the Jooste brand.....what do they still aim to gain by keeping him on a pedestal.....rather than shut the f@ck up....and hope the stigma of being a Jooste lackey does not tarnish them for eternity....they all should take a leaf out of the Pied Piper's book.....look at him now.... like he got more pie and as white as fresh powder snow....he acts like a very neutral Switzerland.... :S

they pander the brand because the tentacles are still there - just like the ANC and Zuma - the king may be gone but his loyal supporters are still in all the right places to make life difficult for those perceived as dissidents

What person will talk negative about the same person who 'put him in power and filled his pockets'?

I thin we can all work that out without putting it down through a key board.

Agree to a certain extent, people are now using Jooste as an platform to get stuck into others! Fairly or unfairly!

Think it’s time we all need to post in real names? Warren Laird has shown he’s got the baws!

If not for every post then for posts when we mention individuals?

What you think?

Might need to start deleting stuff otherwise
