I would guess that selling the week before the meeting would potentially secure the highest prices with all the big buyers, buying into a ready made champ and the prestigious trophy and prize money ?

Possibly true Titch but consider the big boys will pay a bar for a baby thats never ran, so the logic is u have the chance that a horse is running in your name and your colours in a million rand race, i am sure you will pay double the price of the stake prize to secure
