Peter, I hope we will see you in the winners box after Last Winter blows them away in the last 150m.....

Last Winter the best looking horse I've seen in years, a specimen to be proud of. All the best Peter D

Interesting to note Domeyer gets off Western Angel, who was also a winner on debut, to take the ride on Clouds Unfold. The win was full of merit considering she raced green. Moved up to the front runners under the hands with 200m to go and looked completely lost when hitting the front. That was until the jockey gave her a smack and she quickened away in good fashion.

It would be foolish not to give the PE raider, Carlita, a mention, considering she hacked in by just over 8 lengths and in a faster time than Clouds Unfold. Only the race will tell how good she is, however I'll row in with Clouds Unfold.

Carlita..... 'will need the run'.... as per greef and fortune first time out.... i wonder if they will cause a storm again with their comments !

Grant Van Niekerk sounded disappointed that he didn't retain the ride on Clouds Unfold so I'm with you on this one.

Many questions to be answered .....
1. Will the wind have an effect - especially down the straight, where it seems like inside draws had a distinct advantage the last couple of weeks.
2. Will Legal Eagle be lucky enough from the draw - if so, no race imo
3. Will the pace be on in the Met - if so, Marinaresco has to be a factor
4. How good is the 3 yr old fillies compared to the 3 yr old colts - if Fresnaye runs close in the Derby, then Oh Susanna's chances in the Met will be enhanced

Just my final word on the big one ... Legal Eagle and Marinaresco the top two - depending on luck and running and pace ... if both fail for some reason, only others that can feature imo are Captain America - will probably run his heart out again, Sail South - depending on luck in running from that draw ; African Night Sky - maybe not good enough; Gold Standard - blinkers ? Copper Force - 2000 ? Oh Susanna - watch Fresnaye; best roughie imo Nother Russia - if not for the draw would have a winning chance imo; the others ... not for me B)

So, should they go to the front, the following favoured front runners may not stand a chance of winning???:

twist of fate
lucky dancer
sergeant hardy
captain america
let it rain

Who will give cover for Snowdance??
