Race 1: Lucille ran a fair race on debut and should go close, but any of the first timers could win.
Race 2: Frozen Tune looks hard to beat but no value at odds on with many first timers.
Race 3: The Boston Rose has consistent form but is no star so too short in the betting for me. Hello Summer has disappointed after her good debut but with the stable regaining form must be respected. Negma is improving and could win this although bred for further. Golden Wine went too hard early last time, and drops down in trip. Her work has improved and she could make quartets pay.
Race 4: Very open handicap. Bwana has scope for improvement. Strategic Power and Hithimagainchuck are consistent.
Race 5: Franking could be something special, but needs to keep improving after being caned by the handicapper. Many with chances.
Race 6: Fourie has opted for Commander Bond over Shall be Free and I hope that he is wrong. Another open handicap.
Race 7: Star Evolution is a strong selection here with the benefit of the draw. Love of my Life is clearly next best.
Race 8: Red Mars has good form and is the one to beat. African Messiah has good form but a wide draw. Mind Blowing again gets a wide draw and will need some luck.
Hundreds was very impressive on debut, and at his first run back from injury was disappointing. He has plenty of talent, and has the benefit of a good draw this time. I think that he can win this.
