VICTORIOUS GIRL 8.5/1 is big - Really smart debut - I would hammer the places evens! Bigger stable and would be 3-1

Victorious Girl qualifies for a Bloodstock SA added bonus of R40,000 if she wins. I am just theorizing but if I were the connections I would be trying

Race 1: Go the Distance is the obvious one. Improvement can be expected from all of Creme de Menthe,Crowded House, Sugerpova and Victorious Girl for the quartets, as all put in fair debuts.Lucille has disappointed after a nice debut, and perhaps the extra distance is what she needs.
Race 2: Very competitive little field. Spring Man is better than his rating based on his Derby, and can make amends for his below par run last time. Any of the others are capable of winning.
Race 3: Spam Alert went close last time, and this may be her best opportunity to land her maiden, even though a wide draw to overcome. Negma looks the main danger in a weakish field. Nicky Noo and China Wolf have claims on best form. There are a couple of two year olds taking on open company, but I'll pass them by. Over You did not have the worst of debuts from a wide draw and should improve on that run.
Race 4: Quite a few of these are coming off breaks for vaccinations, so fitness is key. What a Joker is better than rated having run ok in the Derby, and is the first choice. Very open if he fails.
Race 5: Ladysmith is deep in the red- she is consistent and this is a weak maiden so this is her chance. Clifton Beach has a couple of lengths to find on her from their penultimate run, and although her last run was very poor, looks the main danger if you are looking for an upset.
Race 6: The scratching of Silver League throws this open.
Harvest Wind put up a pleasing debut, but was disappointing at his second start. He has been working well of late, and has scope for improvement. I am hoping that he can win, but am surprised to see him at 15/10 favourite. Count Rosberg and Giant Flag are inconsistent but capable at best. Marked White Night showed good improvement last time and must also be respected.
Race 7: Very open race. Amazingly can be relied on to set a decent pace. Bendy Bullet and Symphony look well in at the weights. Expedite won nicely at her second start and the runner-up that day has subsequently won. With natural improvement she could go in again, but has a nasty draw to contend with.
Race : A difficult fillies handicap to end the day. Bon Bon again gets a wide draw, but is very game and has a decent finishing kick. Step Out has still not regained her best form- if she decides to run, she is well in at the weights. Indian Song has not shown much improvement on her smart debut, but has the breeding to be decent, but also a poor draw here.
Rebel's Burst is an interesting runner- she tries ground and has good sprint form- if she stays then she is a runner here, and being out of a Giant's Causeway mare could well appreciate the trip.
