how jocks can allow such a slow pace amazes me - they were all checking their mounts around the bend because the pace was so slow - Wd to the winning rider who took them on -

100%, they were just about falling on top of each other, yes, well done to Orffer.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

The best way to give your horse no chance is to break its stride or get it to change legs - happened so many times last night and now again - maybe all races in the cape should be up the straight s they seem intent on that famous Crawl they have perfected

I don't blame him - I'm sure he would have wanted a stronger pace himself (to follow something) -
