7 years 1 month ago
Grooms started marching at 02h30 this morning at Summerveld. They have barricaded entrance. Situation appears volatile.

Re: Summerveld Grooms Strike
7 years 1 month agoIts not some breakdown of negotiation or talks regarding wages/conditions. It activism pure and simple, with the people behind the scenes looking for a literal payoff or at least political support rather than trying to improve the plight of grooms. It wont stop with the July.Bob Brogan wrote: Surely the Durban grooms were giving the same deal as the Randji guys after what happened there?
