Re: Kenilworth Tuesday
6 years 10 months agoSorry to say but it lost because of the jockey.Drops the horse 5 lenghts of the pace in a sprint and then starts riding it,did the same with Suite Francaise and in the finish he is all whip. Most costly jock out there yet Elvisisking seems to get him right more often than not.Kaotik PA Punter wrote: Captain of Tortuga is my best bet of the day, made its debut after being backed to 1-1 and did not show. In its second start was running on strongly to a real star and we'll ahead of the rest of the field. In this race the main danger is Photocopy but this horse has had so many chances.
Deepston will go close to Blue Roller, I will take it for a place. But won't be surprised if it won.
Somersonne will be right their to Sparkeling Fire. I will take it for a place, although it has a winning chance. Four places in the race.
The treble, 1 win and 2 places works out to 3,75 to 1

Now I know what was meant by one of the clanners when they referred to BFH as the "panel-beater"...

Day-in and day-out we put up with these kak upset results.
Racing is not the same anymore!!
July Day was also a case in point with the pace in the race.

Either a brilliantly judged ride by Mbhele or brain dead by the rest of them.Probably a bit of both.

I like a filly today....
she's coming from a layoff but should have atleast 12lbs in hand, she has a perfect draw and one of my favourite jockeys rides her. Her name is Citizen Rose and she's available at generous odds.
