Captain of Tortuga is my best bet of the day, made its debut after being backed to 1-1 and did not show. In its second start was running on strongly to a real star and we'll ahead of the rest of the field. In this race the main danger is Photocopy but this horse has had so many chances.
Deepston will go close to Blue Roller, I will take it for a place. But won't be surprised if it won.
Somersonne will be right their to Sparkeling Fire. I will take it for a place, although it has a winning chance. Four places in the race.
The treble, 1 win and 2 places works out to 3,75 to 1

race 1 some nicely bred first timers and 1 or 2 with form
Interestingly was looking forward to Nacarats last foal a What a winter and 3/4 brother to all those good sprinters but the comment was .."has shown nothing at home so not expecting much"..thats a bit of a let down...bass racing comments below
Pre-race comments Kenilworth 10 July
Majestic Mozart
Event: Race 1, Maiden Juvenile Plate
Distance: 1200m
Pre-race comments: Promising colt but should need the experience.
Nao Faz mal
Event: Race 1, Maiden Juvenile Plate
Distance: 1200m
Pre-race comments: A very nice colt and he too should need the experience of a run or two, but if he is not too green he could run a nice race.
Red Ranger
Event: Race 1, Maiden Juvenile Plate
Distance: 1200m
Pre-race comments: Has not shown much at home and we’re not expecting much on debut.
Shabba Ranks
Event: Race 1, Maiden Juvenile Plate
Distance: 1200m
Pre-race comments: He is a staying colt just gaining some experience.
Flower of Carmel
Event: Race 3, Maiden Plate (F & M)
Distance: 1200m
Pre-race comments: Doing well, good each way chance.
Hello Manny
Event: Race 5, Maiden Plate
Distance: 1400m
Pre-race comments: He has been off the track for a long time after a severe colic operation, we would think he will need his run quite badly.
Awesomeness
Event: Race 6, FM 86 Handicap (F & M)
Distance: 1600m
Pre-race comments: Drawn well and back in regular company now. With the wet track we are not sure where we are with her fitness wise, but she is doing well and we’re hoping she can finish off a nice race for us this time.
Exclamation
Event: Race 7, Maiden Plate (F & M)
Distance: 1600m
Pre-race comments: Poor draw and needs to improve.
Marmalade Sky
Event: Race 7, Maiden Plate (F & M)
Distance: 1600m
Pre-race comments: Hoping for improvement over ground, but a tough ask from her draw.
Cape Xtreme
Event: Race 8, MR 80 Handicap
Distance: 2400m
Pre-race comments: Very consistent at the moment and if he can get a good spot from the break should have a good each way chance.
Extradite
Event: Race 9, FM 88 Handicap (F & M)
Distance: 1200m
Pre-race comments: She has not raced since November 2017, so should also need her run. She has had a fair amount of work so we will have to see where we are with her after this race.
Citizen Rose
Event: Race 9, FM 88 Handicap (F & M)
Distance: 1200m
Pre-race comments: Formerly named Public Persecutor. She returns after a long layoff and will probably need her run back. Enjoys the wet.

Race 1: Lanza has been knocking on the door and we are expecting another good run. We also have Master of Spain - he put up a very promising debut and has come on from that run, so should be competitive. Cash Call has good form and I think is the one we have to beat. Larry Jack and Directors Rock have fair form. There are a number of well bred first timers, and a full field so cannot be too confident.
Race 2: Juniper Spring stands out on her good debut in the Nursery. Beautiful Beat has been steadily improving and hopefully can run into the money. Doubled Over disappointed last time but has the ability. Many unknown quantities.
Race 3: Suite Francaise stands out amongst the raced runners.
Race 4:Photocopy has consistent form and has a good chance here. Main dangers are the two year olds Captain of Tortuga and Elusive Kat.
Race 5: Deepston is the one to beat. Blue Roller has good form but a tough draw. Carlas Mambo and Gimme Peace have good form. Hello Manny should improve on fair debut.
Race 6: Angel of Athens put up a pleasing performance on her return from injury, and should have come on from that run. I’m expecting her to go close in a small but competitive field. Fourie will put up a little overweight, but he is worth it.
Race 7: Quite a strong maiden field. Not much between Sommersonne, Bell Jar and Fashion Force, with a preference for Sommersonne. Sparkeling Fire is the best of the 2yos but a tough task here.
Race 8: Very open race.
Race 9: Another tough race. Star of London ran a fair race in a feature last time, and we are expecting her to run well here. Our other runner, Sun at Midnight has been a bit disappointing in recent runs, and hoping for some improvement. Ostinato, Straat-kind and Over Again have good consistent form.
Race 10. A tricky race to end the day, but fortunately not part of the exotics. Perhaps Ikebana can do the job.

Fourie complained in the first that it was slow and he had to take charge early ( well done Peter D
)and it was, (75.81). Then comes race 2 and the time (76,95).
Not surprised that was a bit of an upset with Juniper spring.
edit: and the next race even slower (77.16
