I’m hoping that Hewitson wins, how many times have I hear Muzi Yeni in a interview moaning about everyone else getting better rides.Maybe anger management therapy would help him next year.

I cant believe what I'm seeing....this is deliberate.....including riding his horse terribly just to go cut off Hewitson's mount

Shocking sportsmanship to say the least.... And a massive big up to Lyle for his professionalism... If that was me, a new sport of EFC on horse back would of been formed....

i would use most stipes reports as Toilet paper.
Muzi and Lyle are riding hard for the title and are prof. sportsmen.

Sly, no stipes report needed, just have a look at the replay....
Not for one second do i disagree that they are professional sportmen, and they have worked ridiculously hard all year around and they deserve the credit for that... However there is a difference between being a professional sportsman and showing professionalism and sportsmanship... And based on the replay, one lacks this and one oozes it...
Just my humble opinion ofcourse....

muzi does fight dirty. we ran second to him a while back heads up heads down ,when i saw the head on i wanted to object our trainer said it looks like intimidation but stipes will call tough race riding. totally agree he has the same idea of sportsmanship as an aussie cricketer or all black. i think its called gamesmanship. suppose thats the way things are these days

I think toilet paper can be put to better use than a stripes report. You wonder wether they are plucked from Gumtree.

I have now watched this Replay for the first time. Up to this point I have been a big Muzi fan. I must say, after having seen that, I am shocked that he is not suspended. That is the most deliberate attempt to unbalance Lyle I have ever seen. Ruined both horses chances of running to their best. A lesser jockey than Lyle would probably have fallen off. Muzi clearly got beaten for first run by Lyle, and then tried to bully his way through the spot already occupied by Lyle's Mount.
I don't recall seeing an incident like this before, but we have work riders getting suspended for saluting on a winner. Before seeing this incident, I was supporting Muzi fully to win. Unfortunately the character does not seem to match the race riding ability, and one sort of begins to understand why, as talented as he is, he doesn't get the big rides. I will be rooting Lyle on tomorrow, for the professionalism he always displays. We will not have anyone bully their way to the title, this is not the stone age.

What about Lyle's character on Monday Fairview in trying to secure a better ride in the last race... got fined for that I believe?
All in the name of trying to be champion jockey perhaps.
I'm a huge Muzi fan and he is one of the most open and friendliest jockies around.
Good luck to both today, the best man/ jock might not win today and the championship, perhaps the jockey with the better stable, horses and rides.
