Yes it was the red horse.
Something happened around the bend and Striker took evasive action. But I think the problem arose,as Bob said it was cruising home after the incident, when he didn't ride the horse after the interference was caused and just let it run to the finish under it's own steam.
How many times have we seen it happen in SA,when a horse can't win the jockey gives it an easy ride home so the MR won't increase.
You don't get away with that over in Mauritius.

That horse was so full of running, would have won easing up.
As he never rode the horse out after the interference , he deserves what he gets imo

Im probably the only one and i am saying this without ever seeing any of its other runs, but just based on that video, imvho it looked like the horse hated the right hand bend. Striker was battling on every bend.... But he did take it easy in the home straight.... Just have to wonder if the damage was done on the bends and he knew something we didnt....

They certainly do look strict and well done to them. Muzi almost ended up in jail as well if I remember correctly.

Any truth that Strydom can’t get off the Island?
Also that de Gouvia is replacing him?

There is truth that one cannot get off the island until one’s taxes are reconned and settled. Maybe also applicable to Striker?
