Rock the Globe EW 40/1... I am of the belief that Got the Greenlight would win this if it was running... Rock the Globe has twice run to GTG and on both occasions finished 3 lengths off carrying same weight. On this theory, RtG could suprise a few and atleast manage a place.

Not much wind today and going will be good, expect the course to be running fast.
race 1 Favorita and Musical Glitch good debuts and both should be competitive, with the latter getting 4kg claim which is significant for babies. There have been positive comments regarding all the first timers so anything can happen here.
Race 2 Freedom Seeker has had two good runs and is the horse to beat but a very skinny price. The first timers don't have to be stars to win.
race 3 We have Blue Gangsta running from a bad draw. She was disappointing last time but prefers good ground. This is a very open race and she has a small place chance. Evening Song is well tried and ran a couple of good races at Durbanville- last time too short and she looks good ew value at 8/1 from a nice draw. Catchafallingstar and Still Tappin have shown up well in their two starts and should be involved in the finish. Voice of Reason has pole draw and a fair sprint debut- she should make big improvement this trip. Two for Tea improved nicely over the trip last time and despite the wide draw must be a threat. A few others with chances.
Race 4. Congo Compaq is a possible banker and should win. Morse should go close, and Flowerscape and Holy Warrior should also be involved in the finish.
race 5. Helen's Ideal has come through her prep runs well this season and she is a stronger filly this term. She was way out at the weights last time, and ran a super race but that was run at a false pace so one must be careful in taking that form at face value. We have opted to take the blinkers off and she has worked well without them. We are 2 kg out at the weights on the MRs with Silvano's Pride, but we are expecting a big run from our girl.We are not well drawn but only 9 runners so that's not too much of a problem this trip. Silvano's Pride is the one to beat, and with the exception of Stelvio which looks outclassed here, there is only a couple of lengths between all the other runners on their best form, so a very competitive race.
Race 6 Hawwaam looks very hard to oppose if he behaves himself. Twist of Fate probably next best, but very open beyond that.
Race 7 One of the most open Guineas that I have ever seen. I picked Silver Operator as my fancy for this race after his impressive run against Belgarion, but he has a horrible draw and not much value in his price. I think Viva Rio is a value ew bet at 25/1, but I will go very wide in my exotics.
Race 8. An interesting race with the improving 3yos against the hard knocking older horses. Six Degrees has only 50kg to shoulder from draw 1 and can cause the upset here over Path of Choice.
Race 9 Young Solomons again has a lively chance with Hardfallingrain carrying no weight. This is a competitive race and many with chances.

RACE ONE
FIRST CHOICE WAS MUSICAL GLITCH BECAUSE OF THE APPRENTICE CLAIM
If she had not lost a length on debut....maybe she would of won on that occasion
Going with the stable companion
THUMBS UP (WIN)
REALLY LIKE THE PEDIGREE
AT 8/1
DON'T THINK SHE WILL BE SPEEDY...BUT WILL BE FINISHING OF STRONGLY

I see Freedom Seeker is the daughter of Asylum Seeker all the way from Aus - will be shouting her home.
Best value on the card imo comes up in Race 8, where the weights all point to Six Degrees
Very open Guineas - compared to last year with Soqrat and Twist of Fate - these have a lot of improving to do imo

Probably biased but Freedom Seeker looked all class - and has inherited her mother's temperament
