Striker wins R2.5m for the owners on Pure State and Tarry cannot even give him a ride in the race! Zackey on the horse????

I see it has been accepted into a race on the 27 Jan (dont ask me where), but i must say, i am really suprised we have not seen Got the Greenlight again.... After its last performance, i thought he would of had a more than decent shot at the Guineas...

Gazza: perhaps Striker - not sure of whether Pure State would run two consecutive weekends - had already accepted the ride on Macthief??

Not the best field of horses in my opinion
Since the race was moved from Feb back to Dec it has not been the same

Hope Mario can do the double ??
He certainly deserves it with what he has put into the game over 5 years.
This would be some achievement.

At the risk of being proven wrong somewhere down the line, I do not believe this current crop of 3yo's (colts and fillies) is as good as in recent years - definitely seems to be below par!!

Agree this field is quite sad. Definitely no superstars this year.

Drawn 2
SO drawn 14
SO got the jump in the Cape Classic, imo the betting should be the other way round
