Shutdown has to happen this week in SA. They have to keep this virus contained for all South Africans , that is the responsibility of Government. Hospitals state and private sector are running short of protective requirements plus tests and meds and beds.

Fingers crossed it helps this horrible situation

From what I’m reading this could last over a year.

Racing could be in dire straits if this is so, we all know this lockdown will probably be extended and racing survival hinges on the overseas tv deal and punters

The TV deal supports and keeps afloat all regions of SA racing

Three keys:

- keep the immune system up - lots of lemon...
- hygiene
- isolate

Wishing all Clanners a healthy and safe next few weeks as this virus runs its course...

Can't understand why the spin that is being fed to the world that this disease jumped from animal / bat to man is to be believed?
Seriously, we know that the earliest inhabitants here down South were the Khoisan or Bushmen and they hunted animals for survival.
Yet no virus wiped out these communities, likewise with Aborigines, Indians in America, Mayans , Amazon tribes etc 😕

Have a watch .... if you have the stomach ... and you may have a different perspective!!

It might be a dead-cat-bounce but, for now, gold is up 6% and the Dow more than 9%. Crazy.
