The worst CEO in the country as he took over
between him and Andy o Connor they “killed” Racing..
And then they took Edcon on to take over when Jan van riebeeck left
I say bring Jan van riebeeck back.

Good riddance, was CEO by pure default however did have a major influence for many years in promoting nepotism and cronyism at PHUM and associated racing entities.

Put in their by his buddies ..
We all know who should have been CEO when van Rie Beeck left but the difference between the two is the elected was share focused not racing focused, apart from one or two special appearances with his bald sidekick walking racecourses all over the country 🤣, I actually watched this joke, and what a joke it was, and then out came the Cheque book and it was party time. Let’s hope they sleep well knowing 30 000 or whatever the number is of staff and families are not earning salaries.. and im hearing they walked away with ffffff cash??? WTF!!!
@Andy O Connor - go to the Vaal racecourse now- Come see what we have train with.... it’s ffff up - but before you do, pay back the money they paid you last time to make suggestions!

In the greater scheme of things John Stuart is but the fall guy and the focus should firmly be on Rian du Plessis and Andreas Heide. These were the kingpins in destroying Phumelela.

Rob Scott was a nasty piece of work if you worked for him and weren't part of the drinking circle at a well known Northern suburbs sports club. The things I have heard about how he treated staff, he deserves whats coming his way.

Rob Scott was heralded as a change maker when he was first employed and was supported by many. He however quickly fell in with the Jooste way of doing things and got most thick with Larry Wainstein and the path of least resistance by getting exposed among several other matters including the sectional timing invoicing debacle and that Formgrids copy job which under Scott was in the process of being to be blended into TT as part of a subscription package .

He also fiercely defended Stuart who aint no saint as his meddling and conniving at TT and other racing entities was very evident long before became CEO. He was the one that was always conducting underhanded interviews and talking devious strategies at his favorite watering hole just off Rivonia road.

Robert Bloomberg Gone too! They falling over one by one! What a Poisonous trifecta. Robert Bloomberg takes the cake, he thinks so much of himself that resignation letter had me in tears! What a $XNT! How many reputations did he allegedly destroy in his time and allegedly through the sporting post? Who takes over now? Have you read the names on the ra cape chapter? What a bunch of rich kids and not one could help with cash, don’t let them get their hands on any pen or phones ffs! And Please please don’t tell me Jono the snaxxx is rubbing his hands to take over because I’ve been there most of childhood and young adult life and that now is a proper mrknowitall but he does ffff all and just loves the spot light and runs everyone down, that’s a proper dxxxs! No future there that’s why I left, shut the place down it runs at a loss every year for the last 20 years and like Bloomberg says they get a quarter of the National stakes pot and give us nothing back for it in turnover. I think it’s the biggest waste of millions going down a pit, don’t they know they lost loyal punters years ago. All that money in the pools on a cape race day I bet you only 20% of that money comes from Cape Town itself. Let the Cape trainers pack up and move north, don’t get left boys we’ve only got about 400 broken boxes left at the Vaal but I think it should be fine that’s the entire horse population anyway in the WC. That place cost a lot more than Kimberley so let’s play fair, close it down.
