Some great racing
Hawaam, Queen Supreme and Mr Flood should be a very popular treble on the day for most punters

Mr Flood should start a very short priced favourite. He's beaten most of the field before, and with the weight turn-around, hard to see any of the others reversing the placings. Got a lot going from him from draw 8, normally gets away fast enough, so can go in or out, wherever the track bias dictates. Mr Flood broke the 1000m record earlier this month, hard to see him getting beaten.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Fantastic days racing!!!!

R1: Secret Strike was eye catching on debut and the money has come. Think she may be hard to beat today. Sanuk, Milan’s Princess and The Villa Grand should fill places. Watch Hot Goods, lovely pedigree on dams side, could surprise.

R2: Two big runners at odds! Eyes on Tiger And Genie should Improve from their first outings and are right in this. Binda horses, Royal Wulff haven’t set the world alight and Harry’s Secret was disappointing last start.

R3: Rapid Fire has a great chance here. Put up a good time when winning on debut and should improve further. Springs of Carmel the rightly fav, but vulnerable to improvers. Miracle flight hasn’t beat much and looks the pace angle. Sweet Senastion is upset material.

R4: mount Pleasant had no right to win latest and he did. Definitely the class angle and I’ll go with him. Slalom Queen franked the form in KZN. Najem Suhail will blitz off the front with a few others and may set the race up. Magic Blaze is the sneaker.

R5: queen supreme is incredibly hard to beat here. Mill queen runs well fresh and is 2nd best for me. Wisteria Walk to contest places. Vistula to round off the quartet.

R6: Mr Flood and Singforrafa will be hard to peg back off the front. Mr flood should hold out. Chimmichurri Run to run on for a place while Russet Air will be gasping for air.

R7: Hawwaam Hawwaam Hawwaam. This champion will run them ragged on his last start in South Africa. Sit back and enjoy.

R8: All at once is my first pick. Big price and represents value. Mighty High second in. Has the class and will be involved. Gin Fizz and Sarah for minor honors.

R9: imperial ruby is bred to stay all day and the low weight is definitely in his favor! He is my first choice. Ali Bon Dubai has been there and done it all over this distance and peaked last year at this time. Factor Fifty is a solid stayer and she should be there too. Look out for Gold Griffin off a low weight and Sunshine Silk who is fairly consistent.

Have a great days racing!
