I am in agreement with @Magi in that whilst we "defend" DJT, I have on numerous occasions acknowledged his short-comings and that the choice is between the least bad rather than the best...and I have always done so in a manner respectful to fellow Clanners...

It's simplistic for me...Democrats are similar to the ANC and I wouldn't want any association with either...DJT is flawed but there is little duplicity in him like one finds in CR7 or BHO and, despite the epithets thrown his way, he has been remarkably restrained for some-one who is allegedly a "dictator" or "wannabe monarch"...simple question: how many of his opponents has he had arrested, tried, convicted and are currently in jail? And how many nationwide mandates has he been able to force upon the states in a federal constitutional republic...

Hate the man all you want but do not pretend that those you support have clean hands...it is that arrogance of ignorance that middle America (working class people) do not like...it is the looking down upon them that moneyed coastal elites are so good at...

Did QPPBJoe really get 10.1 million more votes than peak BHO (2008)? No skepticism about that...not even a "how?"? The Democrats, MSM, Hollywood and the rest of the alphabet soup say so so it must be true...anyone who questions the perpetuated narrative must be ignored or their credibility questioned...

So, my opinions are based on the world I can see coming with an even more powerful China and that is not a world I want my 12 year daughter to have to spend 60+ years of her life in...it's not about me or my generation or those older...
I want her to have freedom of thought not be part of a hive mentality / collective thinking, I want her to have her independence to pursue her goals but be accountable when she gets things wrong rather than the collective responsibility speak we hear from the communist aligned ANC...

I typed the exact same phrase into two different search engines within 15 seconds of each other... check the results !!

The power these tech giants have over the collective mind is scary....

@Magi...as much as the Democrats talk about breaking up the monopoly stranglehold the big tech companies have, they will hardly touch the hands that feed their narrative...DJT, on the other hand, having been on the receiving end of their abuse / misuse of "power", was / is talking about revoking / limiting their s230 liability exemption...the $400 million from Zuckerberg's foundation went a little towards removing the person that can impacts their profits...

Not only will they attempt to destroy DJT, but also all those who supported him. They will do this as a deterrent to anyone else who thinks they can just come into Washington and go against the establishment.

Not sure Mexico paid $1.00 towards the wall, the wall is akin to the weapons of mass destruction, some wet dream he had. Peace in the Middle East - there will never be peace in that region. If the West gave the Arabs Israel (say) from the 01/01/2021, they would still fight amongst themselves as to who should get and control it. They have been fighting in that region from before JC walked the earth, peace in the region is a pipe dream.
