Run April run

Just some information needed can someone advise why would 2 horses with a extremely low merit rating be entered in a progress plate talking about to Human horses today, purely on rating terms very difficult for them to win and there's a cost when you nominate your horse just curious to know the reason.

In no way am I trying to question the trainer credentials etc but I noticed this happens mainly in plate races where horses are entered with low ratings but difficult for them to win.

An attempt for a betting coup? Not necessarily for his own horse but eg maybe as a hare for a friend’s horse, and so on.

r4 ...Mr Hawaii summed the maiden winner very well.
I watched that win, very impressive. If this horse is matched against the MDK runner mentioned,my money would be on E.
the lady owner that was interviewd said 'they wanted to get the win out the way and send him to the farm' She was estatic with the win and stated the horse is named after the champion marathon athlete
If a virus is suspected in the trainers yard, horse might be coming off the farm.
Pack Leader is classy.Im not sure if these colours won in GP yet.

First timer Dragon Queen needs to get the run of the rail to help and may well win 14/1

Not sure if it still applies but Private trainers(not stabling on Phumelela property0 were paid around R900 a horse if the horse actually showed up on race day- These private trainers use their own transport so if they can fill a float they earn money if they can keep diesel costs low - Leon Erasmus used to enter and race horses often as he made money regardless of if his horses earned or not - He would often have 10 plus horses a meeting so if he was earning 300 plus per horse he was making money for nothing so often if these trainers can get horses into a race day in sufficient quantities they do so,

Really good ride by Khumalo , couldn't have been easy with the lead reign in his hand the whole race
