R2: The much vaunted family of Hawwaam makes her debut; this should be too short and the betting also seemingly suggesting that; Magical Flight finding the money, but I think she she will have to run to beat Run April Run

R3: Mill Queen stands out on class - a lot will depend on the pace though, as she seems to be better over slightly shorter; I make the 3yr old Sweet and Spicy the danger; gets a whole lot of weight from the older fillies and may be better than rated.

R4: Pack Leader the obvious one; Eliud the unknown quantity, but I'd like to see the stable showing some signs of being over whatever has been plaguing the horses; only Putontheredlight and Prospector (may be better than last effort) to consider of the others

R5: Open handicap, where only Graduate seems to have no chance; ExpressfromtheUS probably better over the shorter trip, but my first choice is Crank It Up - very consistent and got only 3 points for his last win, which brings him into the race with a big chance imo

R6: Summer Pudding obviously all the rage, but a look at the best weighted column shows that the field is closely matched; I do fancy a bit of Rouge Allure; should hold Mount Laurel on their last meeting behind Anything Goes, and if in the mood, could make them pick up their feet here; the two other Peter runners also in form, so not to be ignored

R7: Pinnacle Stakes, but for me the most difficult race on the card; last week Oravar almost did me a big favor, and today the jock deserts him in favor of Down to Zero, who looks to have a chance on best form at these weights, along with stable mate Angel's Power and the mare Double 'O' Eight; Mardi Gras has run well after a break before, so imo not the Tarry benefit that most seem to expect

R8: I really fancy Copper Mountain here - seems to hold many of these on a line through Captain Morisco; 2nd best for me is Golden Pheasant, but any of the other (bar maybe Aristachus) can pick up the pieces should CM fail

R9 Looks a 2 horse contest imo; Castel Corner overdue to win, but the form of Call Me Master's debut also looks quite strong; CC should have the edge looking at the draws, but CMM certainly worth including

Enjoy B)

What a day :woohoo:

How impressive was Chimichir Run running second with that big weight
