I believe that Mr Robinson should be counselled and compelled to undergo diversity training.Punitive action should be the last resort in this case. The need is to correct attitudes and behaviour given how race based issues crop up in every day life be it here in SA or other parts of the world.

The National Horseracing Authority confirms that the Inquiry which was scheduled to take place on Friday, 20 November 2020 in Durban, has been postponed.
The subject matter of the Inquiry is alleged racist comments made on social media by Trainer Mr Frank Robinson.
Mr Robinson has requested to be legally represented at the Inquiry, which the Inquiry Board has agreed to.
The rescheduled date and time for the Inquiry is Thursday, 26 November 2020 at 10h00.
The interim suspension imposed on Mr Robinson in terms of Rule 91.2 remains in place.
This interim suspension prevents Mr Robinson from entering or declaring horses under his licence until such time as the Inquiry is finalised.
In the interests of horse welfare, Mr Robinson will be permitted access to horses in his care during the period of interim suspension.
Enquiries:
Arnold Hyde
Racing Control Executive

Different rules as NHA goes along.....
I requested a postponement of my inquiry to consult with my attorney and was refused.
I was then forced to attend my inquiry by Jekel and Hyde with no preparation or support at all.
Double standards again......my appeal money of
R8950 has been with them for 9 months but nothing happening...who gets the interest?

The part I don’t understand is why the NHRA is getting involved with a non-racing incident. Especially when racing related issues like grooms’ conditions, PE riots and defaulting owners are avoided.
Edit - I’ve just seen a similar blog subsequently.

I have wondered about this for some time - If a person assaults someone or god forbid kills someone and falls under the NHRA then surely they should also report this to the SAP - In this case there is case law where people have been charged criminally for racist statements - Surely this incident should actioned by the SAP not some Horse Racing Authority? A criminal action or potential criminal action should not be adjudicated by the NHRA - If a trainer goes postal and shoots another trainer should the case not be referred to the courts?

There was a precedent set with the Botha case, the NHRA can only fine Robinson and Fortune the same imo, as they won`t have a leg to stand on with FR or AF`s lawyers.
