A few I think will go close :-
R2) Voice Notes, backed on debut and with natural improvement must be the one they all have to beat.
R3) Juan Carlos in an open betting race. Drawn wide last time out, and appears to have run out of puff. Today from draw 2, should be involved in the finish.
R4) One of a few Divided Handicaps on the card today, never easy these races. Going to side with Kunming who's maiden win has produced three subsequent winners. Very open race though.
R5) Springisintheair, hoping this will go close with a very light weight.
R7) Legitimate looks to be a nice sort in the making and should go close with a light mass. See how Juan Carlos goes in the 3rd.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Done my nuts a couple of times on Liberty Hall... that formline to Got the Greenlight so strong line as a juvenile.. and then under a length running on to Infamous Fox.. I can’t help think this horse needs a little further.. but trainer keeps to this range. Don’t get it.
Always seems to come too late.
At least this time the price is more to my liking, but shorter straight again puts me off.
What to do?

Race 3 - Mhlabeni kept on encouragingly over 1200m last start and should much prefer the extra. Has some gate speed so draw also a plus. Place.

Some thoughts:
R1 Work riders - stay away
R2 Agree with Bayern re Voice Notes, but will be looking for a place from Chilli Chestnut. Took some places yesterday and now see backed from 40/1 to 12.5/1. Was also backed last time, but didnt show. Showed plenty pace in previous races over 2 furlongs further. May just have enough pace to be in the shake up today
R3 Juan Carlos and Warrior should fight out the finish, but Dirty Martini, Gimme a Dancer deserve to be in my P6
R4 Silver Sabre
R5 Field for the P6
R6 Snow Report
R7 Legitimate, but covering with Double the Fun in P6
R8 Alpha Pappa and Matthew the King (both Jocks worry me. De Melo have too many chances on the card and Cheyene...)
Have fun guys

Warm sunny day with a brisk headwind. Quite a challenging card.
Race 1 Not a very consistent bunch, and the first timer doesn't have to be great to beat them Legitimise, Freedom Park and What a Flight in that order of the raced runners.
Race 2. Voice Notes very good debut and is a confident selection. Lady Catherine always in the hunt. Regards to All improved last time and can challenge. Princess Santo two fair runs and should be in the shakeup. watch out for first timers.
Race 3 Essos has a very tough draw to overcome but should still make the frame. Dirty Martini must be respected. Gimme a Dancer also poor draw but top jockey and is improving each run. These are the main three on exposed form, but improvement quite possible from Juan Carlos, Warrior, Bel Punto and Super Duke. Mhlabeni disappointing last time and hopefully will show some improvement this trip.
Race 4 Flower of Saigon has come from too far back last two, and will relish the long run in, and is my first choice. Silver Sabre must be respected and is my second choice. Beyond these, quite a few possibles as there are lightly raced 3 yos and a couple of hard knockers.
race 5 Our mare Secret Depths is very consistent and is fit and well. Has had the 4kg claimer her last few, and so a bit to do at the weights now. Will prefer this trip. This is a very competitive race, and perhaps Our Prized Jewel and Gimme Gimme Gimme are the two to beat, but only Alfred's Girl under a few kg sufferance would be a surprise.
race 6 Another very competitive race. Snow Report a narrow first choice from Apollo Ace, Myhopesanddreams, Liberty hall and Photocopy, but anything could win this.
race 7 Jean's Man was my strong selection last time, and was run out of it late by the talented Jet Dark. Loses the 4kg claim, but as I've said before, has run much better than his rating in his two runs in October, and so no concerns about his weight. The long run in and the headwind are slight concerns, but the 100m drop in distance is in his favour. Is again overpriced in the market (10/1 this morning and plenty of 8/1 available) and he is my best bet ew today. If he fails, then this is a field race.
Race 8 Another tough handicap, and my narrow first choice is Matthew the King. All those from the Alpha Pappa formline on 18th Nov are again in with chances- 3,4,5,6,13.
Todays double- Voice Notes x Jean's Man
Place all to come Essos/ Flower of Saigon/Jean's Man/ Matthew the King (25/1)
