If he's betting on the tote, he's taking fellow tote punters' money by not giving this info before the race...will just lessen his payout...

Just letting off steam .... below is my jackpot ... my wife wanted help with a spreadsheet whilst I was busy placing the bet ... they jumped before I could get it on... I only play 20% as a standard..R52

To be fair he does give the info but with Lenferna and Hawkins in the studio there is no time for him - Sheldon is a very astute tipster and he is under-utilized I have heard him tip 20-1 horses to win - I would much rather hear from him every day than from Lenferna - There are no punters around so why not use the commentator for tipping instead of a presenter (Hawkins can stay but Shea and Lenferna don't do it for me}

Agree... Sheldon is an astute studier of form but more importantly he is close to the action and in the know in my humble opinion. He sees first hand what's transpired in races and therefore his input is invaluable..... BUT when calling a race he should call it in a professional manner.... Overseas callers keep it simple and to the point.... that's how it should be.....

This is not good for racing. punters are going to stop throwing their money away on these dodgy meetings.
