That’s definitely one factor but even when the jocks where travelling results where overall bad.
How good are KZN trainers compared to the rest of the country?
Horses come from the same sale yet when last did a KZN trainer win a major race?
And why is the average horse in KZN so inconsistent?
Training tracks are the best in the country yet our horses are by far the worst.

Good - I think more of the Kimberley guys should go there - Look at poor Corrie Lensley - goes from 39 winners to 0 in the Cape - He should relocate ASAP

BATMAN wrote: I have been playing horses since the late 80.s when i was in school.Everyday revolves around around racing. But i have really come to a point where maybe i must go back into online poker instead. I spent hours studying and i have done my life today, chasing, cant even find a horse that runs a place. Massive form swings.
Then i have to contend with a commentator bragging but you will find that he is losing money on the day but just looking for more punters to have bets for him.
Every horse i have gone for has already been pushed a few hundred meters before the straight.
Without p6 couplings the man in the street has no chance of a pick6 anymore.
Since racing restarted our results are shocking. We have trainers going through streaks of bad runs, not sure if its intentional by having them underdone for later stages.
Even de kock horses we cannot follow.
Tarry i dont know when they will be consistent again.
Snaith uses certain races for prep runs on a day they look like good things.
I also think with Kimberley closed we should not have monday racing, maybe even monday, tuesday.
This rubish racing leaves a sour taste in everyone's mouth, and like me have gotten to a point that i never thought the day will come when i have had enough. We can have a lucky win here and there but thats not enough.
#greyville polly must go

Well said Batman ,that commentator part Also SPOT ON.Im tired !!!He needs to listen to Graeme Hawkins commentating now and thenBy the way I'm talking from my pocket .During changes on raceday they should also declare the commentator for the day ,so punters like myself will know whether to play or not.

We need more racing people in the mould of HAWKEYE. A true all rounder and professional.

I am sad that that we have not groomed any new blood.

The only person that will get close to him is Alistor Cohen. He does not scream and say "My girlfriend Candice Dawson gave me the tip" when her horses win. He is top class and has a bright future!!!!

Yes I agree with you the last decision is ours.
But punting should be a game of skill and a little luck.
All we ask for is the trainer to bring the horse fit to the course, the jockey to ride the horse in a proper manner and then we can't have any complaints.
How many fancied horses where dead and buried even before they came into the straight yesterday?
How many horses missed the break?
Does a jockey really think sitting three wide the whole way is giving the horse the best opportunity to win?
Those things are out of the hands of the punter.
Full carryover in the pick 6 yesterday surely tells us the form didn't work out,and form is the most important tool horse racing punters have to go on that's why we buy the race card isn't it.

Durbs, do agree with you that it is frustrating. My complaints are the same as yours mentioned.
But I do not agree with blaming the commentator, course presenter or the tea lady, when I have done my cash.
Not an easy game...........
