Double Dash failed to build on her debut and a disappointing run. Call to Unite breathing issues.
JPTwothousand tried the 2600m on Thursday, but did not stay.
One runner at Fairview on Friday. The very moderate Elusive Hunter has had 10 unplaced runs. If she is ever going to run a place this is the right type of race. She is 4kg under sufferance but gets the appie claim so can earn if she runs to her best form. A very weak race with any result possible. Fanny Kemble is the best of a bad bunch but must give weight to all.

One runner at Scottsville on Monday. *Pascali runs in race 5. He ran a decent race over a trip too short and is fit and well and distance suited. He is up in class and although on bottom weight, is a kilo or two out with most of the field. Thus not an easy task for him, but if there is a genuine pace he has a place chance. Lucky Miss is well in and ran a very good race last time- she is the one to beat. Master Fuego is on the up, and Get Impressed franked the form of his previous race. Marauding Horde flopped last time, and the Derby form has been suspect, but he won three on the trot before then so must be respected. There are a few others with chances, but those three look the principals.

Pascali squeezed out early- wide and too far back, then jockey rushed him up the inside which doesn't work on the long Scottsville straight- faded out last 200m. Beaten 5 L, but this field stronger than his previous, so an ok effort under the circumstances. He can win again when back in an ordinary lower division handicap next month.
One runner at Kenilworth on Tuesday. Race 1 Palpable was bred in partnership with Maine Chance before we sold the mare. Will probably need more ground.
Am also keen to se how Love Love Love does in the same race, as I bred and raced the dam, Freedom Charter, which was a smart sort. Her stable companion Roccapina should win after a very smart debut.
Its overcast in CT and there is more rain forecast for today. The course is already soft, so it could get very sticky this afternoon.

Palpable missed the break and never in the race.
Two runners at Fairview on Friday. Nothingelsematters in race 5. Fair run this course and distance 3 wees ago. Is 2kg better off with Juan Carlos for 2.5L which brings him right into the picture. An open race where many have chances. Looks decent ew value at 6/1
Treasure Hunt in race 7. Very good run in the Pinnacle last time when out at the weights, and if repeating that should be a big runner. The 4 kg claim will make her hard to catch if the appie can set sensible fractions. Slight concern that this race only 2 weeks after previous. As Fate Has It is progressive, but has to give weight to older F&M. Unyielding also ran a cracker last time. Fourie has elected to ride For All We Know which showed big improvement when a facile winner on poly. If she can reproduce that on turf then must be respected.

Nothingelsematters another fair run in 4th but I expected better. Treasure Hunt very disappointing but perhaps too soon after previous.
On Saturday Canford Rose ran a bit better but still 4L adrift. Very poor run by Flying Bomb from wide draw in very soft going.
One runner at Scottsville on Sunday. Horse Pharoah in race 1. Poor debut as an early 2yo, but I was surprised he ran that early. Rested, gelded and changed stables, so anything is possible. My Boy Lollipop went close last week and if this is not too soon after, then is the one to beat. Don’t Judge and Got The Word fair debuts and should be in the shakeup. A few first timers complicate matters.

Horse Pharoah green and outpaced early.
One runner at Kenilworth on Tuesday. Walk With Me in race 2. Fair debut and disappointing second effort-has been rested and gelded. Gets the services of Fourie. Of the raced runners, the well exposed older Maneki Neko has the best form, with Approach Shot next best. WWM if fit and well and handling the soft going has an ew shout. Quite a few first timers make this tricky. The 2yos have to run about MR85 to beat the favourite.

Very accurate assessment, the winner was given a merit rating of 85.

Walk With Me touched off on the line- unlucky but a very good run considering he had to switch at a crucial stage.
Two runners at Fairview on Friday. Beau Kala in race 4. has been consistent, but may need it after a break. Open race and many with chances. If fit enough can win.
Aussenkher in race 5. relocated from Gauteng where he was consistent, but just a bit high in the ratings. His wins have all been over the 1160/1200 but he should enjoy this fast track. Must have an ew chance. First Origin, The Winter lake and Evies First look the principal dangers, but Tipsy Tina and Jewel Cat could upset.

Game run by Beau Kala in second. Aussenkher poor effort.
Two runners at fairview on Tuesday at long odds.
*Elusive Mata in race 2. She is not the most consistent, but her bad runs are usually when the gap between races is too short. She is best weighted in this race, and on her penultimate run should have a good winning chance, yet she is bottom of the boards at 14/1. She is fit and well and overpriced. The next best weighted is La Pequenita, but the Greeff stable have been off form the past two weeks. Princess Vritti and Seaside Trip have scope for improvement. Sundrop gets 4kg claim which gives her a shout.
*Sunlit from Heaven runs in race 4. She has had soundness issues, but is capable of winning off her current rating. Has been working well and has an ew shout in a weak field. Soft Touch with just 48kg is a big runner.

Sunlit has come back lame. Elusive Mata disappointing run.
One runner at Greyvile on Saturday
Celtic Rumours in garden province. Tough task for her at level weights with the top fillies and a wide draw doesn't help.
She should get the mile at this track but will have to improve a few lengths to feature. Hoping she can somehow burgle a place.

Celtic Rumours found this too tough.
Two runners at Scottsville on Wednesday.
Horse Pharoah in race 6.. Should improve this trip, and hopefully will jump on terms this time. Red Mountain and Future Flo should be too strong for the 2yos of which all of Burning Man, The Mikado, James Fitzjames show promise.
Dawn Surprise in race 9. Has disappointed both starts since maiden win. Very open race, and hoping that she will bounce back running fresh after a short 6 week break.

Horse Pharoah poor run.
Dawn Surprise ran a cracker 4th in a blanket finish and a bit unlucky
2 runners at fairview on Friday.
*Hiersdieding in race 3. Poor debut on poly. Has been gelded and seems much improved in his work. Should be suited to the trip and hoping for a much improved run. Small field with only Walt Whitman having showed anything.
Treasure Hunt in race 8. Poor run last time. 1400m is her best trip and on her penultimate start should be competitive in a very open contest.
