Durbanville
There are a number of horses carded to run which also ran Saturday. Most of these were entered in case Saturday was rained out. Be cautious about taking any early fixed odds bets as most, if not all these duplicate runners likely to be scratched, and deductions will apply.

For those who don't live in Cape Town, while we have had quite a bit of rain in the south over the past couple of days, Durbanville has had much less. The going will still be soft, but nowhere near the very heavy conditions we have seen at Kenilworth recently.
Race 1 Cracklin' Rose gets a nice draw, and looks the one to beat even though she has not really built on her good debut the last two. Antico Amore fair debut and should improve but wide draw, although with the two scratched, comes in to 7 from 9. First Timers don't have to be great to feature here. Sweet Mary Jane looks held by the favourite but can run a place.
race 2 Quite a weak race and many with chances. Rising Fenix good draw and two fair efforts should be in the shakeup with the well exposed Grayswood Pink.
Race 3 Augusta Green has two useful runs under the belt, but Domeyer has stuck with Resonate despite wide draw. Very little form to go on, and upset quite likely.
race 4 We have Cape Point running here- improved penultimate start under a strong ride, but only a moderate 4th last time. has been working well and depending how strong the 3 year olds are, has a chance. Hereditary improved run last time and if repeating is the horse to beat. Exceeder poor last two, but on best form should contest. Any of the younger horses could step up here, so its either banker the favourite or take the field.
race 5 Open handicap where the two up and coming 3 year olds, Never Ending rain and Debonair take on some hard knockers. Eye Catching last three runs on the poly and sharp drop in rating. Steps up in trip, and a wide draw, but is very well weighted on her last couple of turf runs.
Race 6 Speed Machine good win last time and is well in at the weights despite the penalty. Again, its banker the favourite or else go very wide.
Race 7 Kalahari Ferrari and Persistance are useful improving 3yos, but carry big weights against the older horses in another very open race.
race 8 A very competitive fillies handicap. We have Treasure Hunt running- this should be too short for her, but she needs to learn to settle and not always lead. She should be running on late but not expecting too much today as she needs further and this is her first run after vaccinations.
Super Siri flopped in KZN, but her local juvenile form was good and she must be respected.
