It does not make any sense not to show races you are promoting on the screen
I see they now showing Perth
Not sure if they even displayed the first result 🤔

What a fuck up.

1st they lose the signal midway thru the race. Then they show a slow mo replay and cut a way about 150m from the finish to show us cart racers circling at the start. Then they voice over Neil Pretorius with the Cart Racing.

And we are only on race one. Thank God KZN is not their Purview.

Was a big laugh yesterday when you had Cecil M try to save face 45 mins after the event saying oh no we had power cuts that's why we couldn't bring you Perth and Beverley race 1.
Okay, did we also have power cuts to your mic and message straps to inform us of this during the actual race time? This is getting ridiculous. Maybe get people that are actually aware of what they need to broadcast.

.......those with DSTV pay an exorbitant subscription.....I do not.....I get 240 gratis as a channel on on the free gift box but also get 2 Gallop channels and now and then clean feed from a 4Q racing venue.....so I fortunately have options
......those paying for that 240 crap should be a lot more vocal as they are being robbed.....further to this cudos to WSB streaming Gallop with a HD picture and saving one from having to open the channel in another window.....

I doubt DSTV is paying 4Racing any remuneration for their signal to be broadcast. It could be the other way around that 4Racing is paying DSTV to broadcast their signal. Unlike the local news channels in the 400s they are getting remunerated therefore there was a huge outcry when the Gupta channel was operating. DSTV is expensive but no subscriber is paying extra for 4Racing in my opinion. DSTV is still the number one for watching sports. You can still watch Galloptv on TV with a Smart TV or Mi stick if you do not have the decoder.

......my Samsung smart TV not so smart anymore.....the browser is now obsolite....only get YouTube Netflix Prime Showmax.....so having a single decoder for racing is important for me....I think my dora explora is now f@cked anyway and since covid sport is not as good so ....DSTV is something I can do without.....:S

What a difference Gallop Tv is compared to 4Q racing TV.
Very professional and even on a split screen they show the closing stages of the first race to finish full screen then quickly back to the other race.
And to think these guys put this together quickly compared to 4Q who had plenty time to make sure they had a good product.
They promised the world but deliver a sub standard product and don't even communicate with the public trying to explain why they so crap.

i am very happy with 240 on big race days. Lotsa coverage of Local racing.

I use GALLOP for all the other meetings.

i do mute 240 until race time in most cases and mute straight after finish unless i want to hear an interview,.
