Re: Hollywood Greyville (Poly), Monday 31 January
3 years 4 months agoAfter the scratching of Valencia, Camora in the 8th race looks healthy value at 10/1. After it broke its maiden, it ran in Conditional Graduations and higher merit rated handicaps. Its only run in the Polytrack was 5th but in that race horses with a merit rating of 74 to 109 ran. The most outstanding thing about this formline is that the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 8th have all won and another ran 2nd in a listed feature.
mighty STIIIF there Naresh........... i said the # 9 can't WIN...... so the horse drawn 10 wins !!!!!
what do i know .:S :woohoo: :S :woohoo: hope u went e/ way .
The pace of the race was suppose to be from numbers, 9, 10 and 11. I thought 9 will lead. Beaten tactically as mentioned by Durbs.

3 years 4 months agohe'll remember today forever......... has any other APPIE ever had his 1st winner on one day & followed up later that same day with his 2nd win ? pretty much doubt it.... unless Muis Roberts did it, donkey's year ago !
I really hope that as much of a fuss is made about him as it is about the other KZN apprentice that is doing well...

The ride on Blue Sails was quite good by Hlengwa. He looks impressive in riding. Most of the jockeys at the academy are quite well spoken.
On another note, the Njokwe, who ran second on Comora is off to USA to be a work rider there.
