Flood of support on Lucky's first timer in race 1... Keen to see how it goes. Hearing lots of talk about it.

Let's think about a pick 6
Should be a decent pool
What are your thoughts?
Leg 1 : 1-2-9-11
Leg 2 : 5 could be a banker but a surprise is possible this Leg, take as many as you can afford.
Leg 3 : banker 1 the Miracle
Leg 4 : banker 1 Safe
Leg 5 : hope for Sentbydestiny but need to go wide
Leg 6: I do like a field in last but 3-6-8 could be enough to keep cost down
Good Punting

Dave, you really think Desert Miracle is a banker? I honestly cannot see her getting within 3L of Rain in Holland over this distance.

To be honest I am going with reputation over form and the reputation is HUGE, we should find out on Saturday and possibly an ante post bet for the July might be a bit speculation.

Not the first time excuses made for this horse by the trainer....could easily win but champions win races overcoming adversary..... top horse but her record suggests she is not the superstar the trainer makes her out to be

I also will not be relying on her - but looking past her one can't really find anything else besides Rain In Holland; I do think that Follow Me will run a much improved race, but her draw is a negative; for the P6. I'd consider the following
Leg 1: Chyavana probably hard to beat - inside draw only worry; so either take a chance early and bank, or go 4 or 5 runners
Leg 2: Al Muhtana has improved out of sight and is a deserving favorite imo; however does have a widish draw to overcome and does have to give the up-and-coming 3yr old filly Freed From Desire a lot of weight; the only others to consider imo are Chimichuri Run, MK's Pride and Bingwa who needed his last run badly
Leg 3: I'd take a chance on the 2 favorites
Leg 4: More open than the Fillies equivalent; I think Aragosta is a live runner with Pyromaniac and would be stupid to ignore the favorite - of the others maybe Outofthedarkness can run on to trouble them
Leg 5: Set weights, but not that easy - I'd include all of Mount Laurel, Sentbydestiny and Admire Me; for the upset, I'd consider Ugly Betty (especially if it turns up soft), Rouge Allure and Pin Up - and if going wide, would be dof to ignore Bon Vivant
Leg 6: Shangani does have a lot going for him, and a possible banker in the last; others to include probably Black Thorne - but I think again if you think Shangani can be beaten, just include the lot
So maybe take 2 P6 perms - bank the favorite in the first leg in the one, and bank Shangani in the last in the other
