A serious question - horses with no form and coming off 200 day breaks', win and keep finding, as you like. Horses with top form, going to Tarry and MDK, can't find the top 4. From a form POV - how do you find these?

Well a certain punter did manage to find all 8 winners on the card and picked up 792k in the Hollywoodbets competition.

Maybe get his input/analysis :)

Thanks. I understand the form on 6 of the races. It's races 2 and 7 that I'd like clarity on.

.....it is not only analysis and what you know and don't know.....one has to also have an element of good fortune or simply known as luck.....and say the winner of the last race was very fortunate in going for an enterprising run and seemed to be the only trier other than the loose horse....

100% agree. It's gambling after all so luck definately plays a part. But even luck runs thin as a reason sometimes. Haven't been financially impacted at all by results today, but just intrigues me when I go through the winners at the end of the day.

100% disagree with Muhtiman and Brendonr's comments.

@Muhtiman, are you saying that the first 7/7 winners were all good fortune and no other reason???? or are you FACTUALLY saying that the last race winner was all luck? my advice to you is just wish the winner well withouth trying to be a know it all OR a post race merchant. Just shut the front door. Some punter has wonI :)

@Brendanr, NEWSFLASH, If you are a punter - you have been financially impacted - whether you had a bet today or not - unless you suffer from amnesia and all your future bets will not be impacted by todays results.

.....and I'm glad I stayed out but was only flummoxed by 2 results ....2nd race and maybe the last....had an inkling for Greek Miss at race time.....and could have really hammered the swingers but given it all back in the last 2 races.... but shot to the oke that got 8 winners some obvious and others not....maybe he got lucky with a Greek stikkie or is even married to one and she calls him Skallywag or has a dog or cat with that name...:P

Thanks - you are right. I haven't been impacted today but am definately weary on certain races in the future. My budget and contribution to the pools will no doubt be reduced to playing where I am comfortable, and with races with which trainers I am comfortable with. I cannot bring myself to make blind inclusions and will never will.

.....a heart warming article in the HWB mouth piece about the 26 yr old un-employed winner of the R720K Punters Challenge yesterday and is a big Matchie fan..... I still maintain a massive stroke of luck with Denis Swartz getting the mount in the last .... fresh off 2 earlier wins for Paul Peter and the Viljoens and staring at a 45 day holiday and an very enterprising ride ...where the fav got impeded by the tiring loose horse at a critical stage 50m from the line....that loose horse imo also helped the winner set a pace and had something to follow.....
