I would.like to know form the , to what MR did Shoemaker ran and after finishing 5th does he get into the top 20 log?

Depending on which of the top 4 they decide to use as the line horse, Shoemaker ran 117-119.
The concern with this race is that River Romeo and Street Art ran 2 and 6 points respectively below him and thus improved from the high 80s to 115 and 109.
#20 on the log is Pacaya rated 110- it seems bizarre that he should get a run ahead of staying 3yos with ratings 115 and above.
The problem as you rightly point ouy is that no matter how you rate the top 5, both River Romeo and Street Art ran way above their ratings; I came up with the following - will be interesting to see what the Handicapper think -
See It Again - 118
Dave the King - 117 (Interesting as I never thought he would stay 2000 - perhaps with a slightly more conservative ride he could be the dark horse - however depending on what the Handicapper says, he will probably come in at level weights with See It Again at 57kgs)
Without Question - 115 (if he remains at current official ratings - 119 - he could get 1,5 kgs from See It Again - 124 - enough to turn the tables ?)
Cousin Casey - 115 (officially at 122 - so as things stand will come in at level weights with See It Again at 57 kgs)
Shoemaker - 113 (officially 114 - so as things stand he would be well handicapped - but will he get in ?)
River Romeo - 111 (big improvement - will be interesting to see the Handicapper's view ?)
Street Art - 109 (big improvement - - will be interesting to see the Handicapper's view ?)
Son of Raj - 109 (officially at 115 - guaranteed a run - and if the DN was indeed a pipe opener he may well end up the best handicapped 3 yr old in the race)
Let's see how the Handicapper rates them - I'm still not in the 3yr old camp :dry:
