.....Race 1.Lorenzo Karriem has the services of 2 top jocks on his pair of fairly nice ped pics....going to throw both into swingers with the fancied 6X8 and places top 4 on both....

Not the easiest of cards, but interesting.
Race 1 I like Strawberry Stringer, but the draw is a challenge. Rapidash a clear danger but also not the best of draws. Future Flo, Bedtime Story, Give Us A Smile all fair form and nice draws. Complicated by first timers so I'm cautious this race.

Silver Darling to me the right one in the Woolavington despite the draw; Daily News is open imo - I think East Coast could be a lurker :dry:

Race 2 Kingdom of Gold first choice, then Knockout. Hokaai My Meisie worst draw, but I bred her and the mare has 4 winners from 4 runners, including Sarah. Hope to see her put up a good showing.
Race 3 Very open
Race 4 If Union Square runs to his best he wins. Noble City and Imposing are useful 3yos and get weight from him so can challenge. Famous and Rich did well in KZN last season but was terrible in CT. Lord William can earn a cheque.
Race 5 Very open race. We have Crimson King running. he has had his niggles, but has been running ok over shorter trips in Jhb. He has travelled safely, and now runs over his right distance. On official ratings he is a couple of kilos under sufferance, but was as high as 110 last year. On bottom weight and plum draw he should not be ignored.
race 6 The older girls look stronger, but as we know any one of the 3yos could show big improvement. Not much between Rain In Holland, Silver Darling, Marina and Gilded Butterfly showed big improvement last time. I'm leaning towards Marina as the ew value.
Race 7 Cousin Casey / See It Again/ Without Question in that order
Race 8 Crawford/Rix get a decent draw for a change with Hierkommiebokkie, and she looks the one to beat. Very open if she fluffs her lines.
Race 9 Very open, i'm putting the field in my P6.

Silver Darling bad draw but don't write her off, has a big e/w chance and is overpriced

I'm told Bevies Delight in the 3rd. How far, pay pay, tickets & tax etc etc etc

I'm more conservative & will be happy with 5/1 short head win & if I can get evens a place

Not a fan of Sheldon but that was a good call. Looked very close but he committed. Top stuff.
