Would be nice to check the code of conduct rules for the NHA .
I just notice too many fines being issued for transgressions.
This particular horse was punted from about 40/1 into around 8/1 last year on July day .Off the board.
Needless to say I followed the money and burnt my money too.

..... Very disappointed if Pete did in fact cheat then he must give to the NHRA Xmas bonus fund.... and suffer the consequences of his actions..... was always told that it was easier to tune up fillies and mares and those that did it coyly smiling nudge nudge wink wink meaning that this cocktail is what they were referring to.... Trainer of Black Caviar admitted that she was on a similar product all her career.... and then one has got to wonder if all those fem world beating machines from down under were all tuned similarly...

Must be the worst planned betting coup in history. U dead heat with ur 50/1 stable mate.

There are so many people in and around the horses pre and post race at most venues. Anyone can slip them a mickey.

The mickey is normally to prevent a horse from performing.., the sh1t here is administered over a period of time....and is steroidal in action in orderl to shape cut and tone muscles just like some female body builders have been known to do..... it is nothing but an illegal shortcut.... .

Dave Scott on topic Will Muscutt be allowed to race?
Have not read all detail but was not impressed the owners horse was banned for a year ?

Surely it could have been moved to New stable it's difficult enough being owner 😕

...but because the substance is steroidal the body build has been shaped illegally and a lengthy ban will ensure thst the horse will become totally let down and stripped of the condition she was illegally conditioned into.., same thing with that other local trainer that got the R650K fine and a smart sort banned for the steroids used..

... doubt that they were setting her up for a single hit... but shaping her to be a multiple winner and have a bigger value at stud.... Now they have a maiden winner that will never see a racecourse again... and may be infertile at stud because the steroids may have totally messed with her reproductive system...what a shame

... This saga is becoming more confusing than a chameleon of on a smarty box.... Pete admits guilt but the part owner a legal eagle says Pete did not cheat as the steroids that were present in the urine sample was because of contamination of the Regu-mate.... and inadvertently Pete is guilty... so does this mean that Pete knew that the Regu-mate was contaminated....
