Tony have highlighting this for ages but no action plan and it's the norm
I am sure many punters want to support the tote but then we really would be classified as mug punters

They have to sit down and come up with a compromise

Tote for all exotics
Bookies for fixed odds wins and places

Just a thought but better than current situation

Agree with you Dave. But why doesnt someone educate the commentator.
He told the viewers the pathetic tote odds like it was a half price sale.
He may know how to call the horses home but he isnt great for business. lol

In many cases they only quote the tote odds and you are correct that is hardly going to get anyone to punt on the tote.

At least some of the commentators and presenters have the savy to quote both 😉

a family member still plays HW punters challenge and I send him a few pointers....in some races I have several selections so I tell him to start out by playing a quick pick and then add my selections and in those races it may select one of the several and if not he must choose....today I make no selection in race 2 and this horse is selected for him by the quick pick....:ohmy:
