On ratings, Dyce has the field well held, hence the way the bookies priced the race with the minimum weight being 50.0kg. She's not getting the fillies allowance. Dyce is being well placed in the right races. Nice to have these discussions.

Understood, however you've got to rate a horse against something, whatever that thing is, surely. If according to your ratings, you make them much closer, then you on the right one.

You must never just agree with someone, you might have studied and found one to beat ours, that's the one to stick with.

Please don't take this personally, the problem with horse racing is, we tend to have a herdish mentality.

I have a simple approach.... fitness, C&D suitability, Draw, form. Then I have a potential short list which I then look at times, weights, collateral form etc.  Works for me...... sometimes
