So after this weekend the qualifiers for the July should be crystal clear (apart from Double Superlative who is likely to run in a Pinnacle on 15 June) - so if you fancy a punt on one of the longer priced runners who you think will run a blinder this weekend, this is the time to do it .(when does the next Log come out ?); I still think that Barbaresco trading at 40/1 currently is BIG value
Just another point to take into consideration - say See It Again runs 5 lengths behind on Saturday in the Gold Challenge (not unlikely imo as he is sure to need the run a bit and probably is also using the race as a July prep) - will the Handicappers drop him a point (or two) - with the result that many other contenders go up in the weights ...... ?
