Old tote site days are numbered

......have always been reluctant to change especially when things become too busy or complicated as I am a keep it simple kind of guy....now 4Q are counting down the days to shutting their old site and prompting punters to try the newer one  out.....well I gave up before the 1st race today as it is for me still too busy and not as simple....so after the local racing I try to find a way that I could try and navigate without getting confused and/or frustrated.....I notice a button(not ever noticed before) modern.... I click on it and it changes to classic.... WOW this is much simpler and less confusing....so I hope they keep this feature as it may just work for me.....

It's going to be a painful change. 
Still using the old site which is far more user friendly than the new site.

Just switched to classic view as well. Much better.

.......yesterday I stuck to playing on the new site to further familiarize the functions and found some features that helped the way I play.....however towards the end of local racing day the system began to get glitchy and would not accept some bets.....I panicked trying to back track to the old site on both my laptop and phone and missed the race
......thankfully the horse I as trying to play ran out of the top 3 a dirty 4th.....then in the next race same thing again.... would not accept bets.....gave the system error code but having a bit of time to the jump....I found that refreshing the page between each bet seemed to work.....but hey Houston you have a problem because if this kinda sh!t happens after you close the old site..... you gonna lose the last of your customers to a less problematic betting site....oops

It's better to just move on sometimes, there are always reasons why new sites are introduced

.....if one goes back to the plethora of threads on these matters in past years it pissed off many punters that simply went to other sites.....even HWB had many such issues in there major growth phase and lost more customers than the tote did.....I even introduced many family members and their friends to  HW that no longer use their accounts as apart from the Punters Challenge have little to no interest in punting....unless I call them up to have a stab.....

.....another major beef I am encountering with the new site today is that payments and credited winnings are  been drastically delayed as I have the old site open and winning  balances are already there.....mad

.....oh f@ck silly me....you have to continuously keep refreshing the page until the balance eventually increases....no thanx 4Q ....have no time to f@ck about going manual when this function should be automatic.....so please do drop me a line when all is fine......

Sorry but this new sites usability is horrible from a Laptop when compared to the old sites usability.

.....so a new problem crops up today.....I.m getting timed out on my laptop and have to keep logging back in.....

.....also I cannot change any bet types on my mobile phone....so win bets only......looks like I'll soon be back with the bookies open bets.....

.....got some help from a lady at TAB yesterday and laptop issues have been minimized but for the occasional glitches........however betting on the phone is most problematic...guess I'll be stuck indoors all day today.....poor pooch walkies after sundown

.....and now the new site seems to have crashed.....mad
