MDK was singing the praises of Warren Kennedy for his ride on Forest Path post race, and touting it for ride of the month.

He obviously can't read a race like you can (lol)

He is a top class horse, dont expect him to win all the tym, clairwood is not his favourite course and remember he was carring weight. Bernard is a top class jockey he knows wat he was doing so no one to blame. He is a champ

we got 10/1, 12/1 and 14/1 Forest Path a place...took R40,000 in places...because we knew that the MDK stable were expecting both Forest Path and Zirconium to be there...

MDK in the citzen a week before....
When PP flufs his lines...Forest Path will be there to take the spoils...
Think he is surprised at Forest Path's run...Xmas father...tooth fairy...easter bunny......

Geez, after you guys get rid of Bernard and Karl, it may be necessary to yank some children out of the stands to complete riding assignments in Cape Town.

Especially when everything is going wrong in a race, hey! Some people still seem to think riding a horse is like driving a car, you can put it wherever you want whenever you want. What would the 'experts' have said if Bernard had made an early move, raced wide for hundred of metres on a course which is a long continunuos bend from the 1600 to the 400 and got beat? Oh, he should have sat at the back and waited....!

Racing always reminds me of the World War 2 quote from, I think, General Patton. The first casualty of battle is the battle plan...in other words, things rarely if ever turn out the way you thought. For the backrunners in the July, the battle was an unwinnable nightmare from the start.

But Carlos/ Magic....didn't Bernard liken PP (or was it BCL?) to riding a motorbike?

Maybe, but a motorbike doesn't have a mind of its own. It does nothing without human imput, very unlike a horse which is a herd animal with more instincts than brains.
