Just saw a live interview with Kevin Shea and he says that he is excited to be riding the horse over the 7 furlongs

I am still trying to work out what the fuss is all about JJ. After 4 runs in the UK he looks very ordinary to me.

I see very little presently being bred in South Africa capable of competing at the very top level in the UK, France or USA. At best we appear to be competitive at Group 2 or Group 3 level on a good day.

MDK getting the best results from horses bred eslewhere from what I can see.

For me JJ did what was asked of him. Sent about his business coming down the hill and caught the front runner going well, just ran out of steam. First 2 in betting cut each others throats.

MDK has never been a sprint man...best at 1800 and up....
when he has a sprinter winning...

MDK did say...in the Citizen...no match on the AUS form line..

FIRMLY agree with you!!!!!! He has done us proud, extremelly proud and MDK as well!!!!! Top horse top trainer in my books. no where near second division!!!! this is racing bud, never froget that people anything can happen!!!!! No offence to shea but i believe the man for this horse is Stiker. i'll go to the grave believing that... This is strikers mount. Never the less Shea is top class and a worthy replacement.

I know its tough settling for second/third/fourth/somewhere lower down the line, but this is competitive racing and at least we can qualify to run amongst the best! says a lot about SA racing.... We have it, we really do just not our time yet. We'll pick up. Believe it.

i sore on the other site that jj has left de kock because mike de kok does not greet the one owner in the parade ground.
