Now you see this horse run to its true potential. Best move the owners will have made in a long time.

J J The Jet Plane moved to Hannon after fallout

THEA BOYENS, part-owner of J J The Jet Plane who was unplaced in Tuesday's feature race at Glorious Goodwood, the Betfair Cup, has moved the horse from Mike De Kock's yard to Richard Hannon according to a report in South Africa.

Boyens was said to be unhappy that jockey Kevin Shea was again engaged to ride the former South African sprint star in the race which is registered as the Lennox Stakes, and that De Kock did not greet her properly in the parade ring before the start of the race.

De Kock told racingweb.co.za: "I was courteous before the race. I introduced myself to Thea's boyfriend and then discussed tactics with Kevin."

Hannon informed De Kock that he had been approached by the owners of J J The Jet Plane to take over on Wednesday morning and Hennie Du Preez, speaking on their behalf, told racingweb.co.za: "Our reasons for moving from Mike De Kock are personal and have nothing to do with the performance of the horse. We'd like to leave it at that."

He's no superstar, but better than he showed on Tuesday, both JJ and Main Aim looked tired after recent exertions, no surpise the freshest animal won. On a similar note, Kingsgate Native should be spot on for tomorrow, any bookies going 4 places?

You'd think Hannon would have said thanks but no thanks in view of the owner not really being in a position to criticise the former trainer, having not trained winners herself?

After the last couple of performances perhaps his name should be changed to 'J J the Bi Plane'

Maybe MDK did not bow down and fall all over the queen of Elsberg, maybe JJ would have run like the wind for Striker, maybe JJ doesn't like running on undulating tracks, maybe MDK made an honest mistake in thinking JJ could get 1400.

Or maybe, just maybe JJ is not the world beater everyone thought he was and all this personal kak won't make JJ find the many lengths he needs to beat the best speedsters of Europe.

At the end of the day I'm sure MDK did his best for the horse, what more can one ask from a trainer?

MDK's got nothing to prove to anyone after all his domestic and worldwide success...

You just cannot respect others opinions. You are one of the main reasons why people do not post on ABC.

Maybe, just maybe, a horse that can run 3rd and 4th in two successive Gr1's in England IS good enough for over there. I can't believe some of the stuff I'm reading after the horse runs one race miles below his form. So maybe he's not the absolute best sprinter in the world but he still looks good enough to pick up at least a Gr2, and why not a Gr1? Worse horses have managed it.

We'll just have to see if the change of trainer helps or not. MDK is a fantastic trainer, we all know that. That doesn't mean that JJ might not be better suited to someone else.

can you stop this now as I am trying to find another 16/1 winner to post as I did yesterday along with 3 other winners. Now go along and take your prescription or whatever it is that reverts you into a normal person again.
