Who tipped Fort Noble?

A while ago we were rambling about why we are hooked to this game and I talked about great days and bad days, etc. Well how's this for mer today: I made a stupid mistake and left out The Walrus out of my PA (my 4 runners did not feature); I then took a JP but went out in th 2nd leg with Fort Noble (a leg where I would have doubled up in the PA). I then took a double in Race 7, but did not include Flying Tristam (but I had that one in the JP). So now I am a spectator for the rest of the day.....(td)

Hard luck Frodo,

Next time take a chance on a % of my exotics as well, you would have just won the Clairwood JP for R1010.00 a nice R6597,40 return. Looks like we could be in line for a nice P6 payout at Clairwood as well!

Kenilworth is looking even better since of the 4 1st choices so far tipped today 3 have won including:

Forest Dean Paying R6,70/R2,10
Prince of Troy Paying R12,50/R2,60

May the force be with us! B)

Never nice to see a champ fall but I guess nothing lasts forever. You'd have to say the Pocket is well past his prime and I would maybe think of retiring him now. I've been one his biggest fans but I would rather not see him race as a has been. Maybe one final race being the Champions Cup as his swansong perhaps...

You have to feel for the connections of Blue TIger - he really ran a great race in defeat and is perhaps just too versatile for his own good. Lots of reputations got dented here; unfortunately one season too many for PP (not trying to be clever after the fact, but I think hindsight shows that he should have been retired after the Met); Smart Banker not the same horse out of JHB and Mother Russia - who knows -perhaps she just had an off day

Nice tipping Loopy - although that P6 was really expensive, but the JP was affordable at R70 for 10%

Thanks Frodo,

I take as many as the analysis shows I have to and although you could take chances here and there they are calculated risks which could work somedays and other days leaves you short of a R300k P6. This one was very expensive in the R30k, but hey still a 10/1 winner!

Well done Loopy. It would have been interesting to see how I could reduce the R44k cost to maybe R10k but the time wasn't there. Your jackpot could have worked even better with a reduction. But catching it is the main thing!

My own favorite Mother Russia faded so that was that for my quartet and my opinion about the race. I didn't get to play either pick 6 today just a quick PA at Clairwood which a friend and I caught for 25% for a R650 payout and a Sandown Race 4 exacta 2,5 which paid R28 several times to end off the day.

I will post a pick 6 and jackpot tomorrow using the software and excel sheets.

Enjoy the soccer tonight guys!

Did not see the race and the replay is not on Tabgold - Kenilworth is however.orning its champions season!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From the photo he seems he finished 2 lengths off in third in the photo.Look what finished behind him and tell me again he is a has been. Granted he is an older horse but he may have one major victory left in the tank. Its amazing how we exect champs to win everytime their hooves touch a track

Could someone please direc t me to an online replay

If I had a horse that can earn at Gr 1 level and beat Smart Banker on even terms over a mile I wouldn't be rushing to retire him, as long as he pulled up okay.

Cheers Hibs - Woke early and caught the race replay this morning. Look at the gap between him, Smart Banker and some of the best older horses around. You cannot write him off just be cause you've done some money on him. I am sure a lot more has been won on him!
