Sunrisers flying, Jansen is some player. Pity that the Wanderers is the venue for the final. Final should be played at the home of the highest finishers or at a neutral ground like Bloemfontein whose public are being starved of top quality cricket. They would fill out that ground twice if they had the final.

Agree...
Jansen has played at another level in this tournament...Sunrisers have a very good, balanced bowling attack such that any score is defendable...
Wanderers solely because it has the biggest capacity of any of the cricket grounds in SA...maximise ticket sales and with it being on the Highveld with short boundaries, high scoring (which fans seem to want) final is a high probability...

Looks all over for the Durban side. Whenever I watch de Kock he gives away his wicket by going for that extra big shot after an overs target has been achieved. Klassen has had a poor tournament by his standards.

Another poor season by DSG...De Kock and Klaasen...in their 30s now...the eyes are going hence late on shots...what would previously have been boundaries when they could trust their eyes are now edges or bowled...only takes a small deterioration in the eyes to make the form go from good to terrible...Father Time has the best record in all of professional sports..
Paarl Royals and MI Cape Town my guess for final...

After England thrashed Pakistan in the first test at Multan 4 months ago Pakistan have taken a new route. They have prepared turning wickets so much so that they now open the howling with two spinners who took all the wickets in the 2nd Yest at Multan then took all but one in the 3rd test at Rawalpindi thus giving Pakistan a 2-1 series win.
they then toured SA leaving those two dearly spinners at home knowingly that they would not be required on SA pitches They lost 2-0
Now back in Pakistan they played the West Indies and beat them in Multan on a spinners paradise to go 1 up
The 2nd test, also played at Multan on a spinners wicket ended with the West Indies winning yet another low scoring match.
Appears that Pakistan take preparing wickets to the extreme either a flat 600 plays 550 track or a pitch that produces 16/17/18 and even 19 wickets a day,
I assume that the fans of Pakistan are happy with those 2 wins against England and the first test beating of the West Indies, but surely they can see that it’s not good for the game.
Maybe they are happy as it’s their conditions and it’s their way of beating a visiting teams.
England have the overcast conditions that help them, Aussies have their rowdy fans, Sri Lanka have their turning wickets etc etc
One thing is that there are no longer boring draws

Pun intended I am sure
I have seen videos of Pakistan groundmen test preparations and they cover the pitch in a tent and use giant fans to make sure the ball is turning from session 1 of day 1. Crazy really, but as you mentioned, technically they are not doing anything wrong, using conditions to their advantage.

Aussies making batting look simple 330-2 after 81 overs. So many teams struggle against the Sri Lankan spinners in Sri Lanka. Maybe it will start turning on day 3 so they should look to bat once and score very big as they have selected 3 spinners plus another 3 who also spin the ball

So finishing top of the table has you come against the team finishing 2nd at a neutral venue? Just does not make any sense
Why not just play two semi finals 1st v 4th and 2nd v 3rd home advantage to team finishing 1st and 2nd
Final at the ground of the team that finished highest on the table
Newlands would have been full as will have St George’s if they had the home matches instead of this nonsense of playing at a neutral venue.

Agree...
Giving participation trophies to the grounds has resulted in a poor crowd...if either of these teams played a home match, it would be a full house...
Neither of the top two teams in the league play any home matches from the knockout stages...just not right...

Double joy as CTN win the SA20 and to top it all no motor mouth Haysman to spoil it with his incessant talking.

Brilliant knock from captain fantastic for the Proteas. By far the greatest skipper that the Proteas have ever had
