Victor Chandler - smallest bookmaker in South Africa ?

I had a share in a bookmakers cubicle,and there was an amount(displayed) that any bookmaker had to lay, to anybody,at the price on his/her board.
I did not have the option to take certain peoples bets and refuse others...it was one rule for all......why can on-line bookmakers discriminate....another question for the gambling board.
It's time they set out the perameters!

Exactly Shrek - they should be able to balance their books fine as long as they don't have any huge punters that beat them on price. Maybe the foreign markets were different for Victor Chandler - i.e - any horseracing bets they laid they could take back on Betfair at a profit. I used to work in the bookmaking industry maybe 8 years ago and a bookmaking operation that is run with sound principles, the primary one being customer service, can be very profitable.

Treat them mean like me to keep them keen

Ruffian, I happen to work in the bookmaking industry and trust me most online bookies compare notes and you don't come up favourably with any of them. Yes, you beat them regularly, but lets just say its your style that pisses them off. Like I say......................keep on raping them.
