Both vulnerable over 2000 imo - but is there anything in the field to exploit that?

I wouldn't write off Past Master just yet. Darryl Hodgson kept saying the Met is his mission and not the Queens Plate. He is 2,5kg's better off with most of the horses in that race and will strip much fitter, I think the 14/1 is worth a bit of a nibble.

Could be wrong of course, but I don't think Past Master stays - interesting entry for me is Earl of Surrey - highest rated horse in the race and he does stay - he won won the Zim Derby as a 3yr old - not sure if he will run and how he will be weighted?

You are right took EF at 66/1 also a good price for a non runner...........lol

Pocket Power could also be a good non runner at 16/1?

Just as well we love the game

Earl Of Surrey won the Zim Derby, but with all respect my ageing dog could have beaten that lot. I think he is a far far better sprinter than a middle distance horse.

For sure, merely pointing out that he is an interesting entry - would think that the stable would not have entered him if they believed he is not worthy - will be interesting to see if he is in the final field come Monday - I see he is also due to run in the Cape Flying to be run the week before the Met - so probably a doubtful starter in the Met

Well for a 10/1 shot to be 100/1 can guess its a non-runner, and 5000/50 can be added to my non runner list.

Only one left is Pocket at 16/1.

Does anyone have any news on Bravura???

He hasn't been sighted since the Premiers over a month ago. Wouldn't have thought he would've gone to the Met without another prep run.

Was one of my leading fancies but have my doubts as to his well being now...
