Mahbooba ran an absolute CORKER in my books. She is not a miler at all and will be effective up to a mile and a half!!!

Maybe we should ask why the on course presenter said Mahbooba was 4/5 internationally and we in SA had her at 1/3....

I've thrown my formlines away, but if I remember the winner was a pretty good filly in Ireland and wasn't rated all that far behind Mahbooba by the local handicapper.

the winner ran 1and half lengths 3rd to goldikova in a gr1 race in france with soumillon on her back so that was a great run by mdk filly imo.k shea had to make pace if they wanted to win the race, but still very game in defeat.great ride by soumillon.
