I have worked with many stayers who show a lot of pace then fade in a sprint. Put them around the turn and give them a chance and you have a different horse.

it can ONLY be scream runme if its being worked. This horse looks the part, an extra 6 months on the farm and it would have been awesome for the animal.
Please note we are talking AFTER Jackson done so well , at that moment when Jackson wins the derby this horse should have been treated differently.
All that has happened today is his reputation and form are tainted.

so craig , now its a stayer?
come on guys, it was incorrect to run this horse no matter how you look at it.
Thius should have been primed for a 3 year old career.

easy the worst time to assess a horses performance especially when it has run well below par is 1 minute after the race...lets wait and see what comes out the washing tom am ..dom zaki has worked with plenty top horses and he knows a good horse when he sees one

This race did not tell us much. Obviously had shown plenty at home and to then not run him if all is well would be hard especially as you have plenty owners in him who have probably seen him work so well and then you say wait. Not easy. Did something go wrong like he bled? We dont know. He was going too easily then stopped too quickly for my liking. I would doubt that that was just fitness or lack of it the way the money came for him. I hope he is ok.

that would be a risk as there is no guarantee that it would qualify..if 12 winners accept to run the first timer would be the last to get in etc
