All that the speculation proves is that Harris's "story" is being questioned just as much as anything else...Some people misconstrue this forum as a dumping ground for bullsh!t stories and come on here with hidden agendas and scant regard for both the clan's intelligence and the people they wrongfully accuse....If harris is not a bookmaker then let him dispute it here and if he is why did he not make that known when he started this bollocks thread..

I won't argue with that Titch.....I would liked to have been able to read the post and then ignore it knowing that if there was any skullduggery going on ,the NHA would sort it........that is how it should be!
If Harris cannot back up the allegations he has made, he would have to be insane,so I would guess this won't be the end of the story.

1) Why did someone claim Jolly Along four times over a 10 minute period ? The answer is simply that he knew it would be scratched. Jolly Along was scratched so my statement was true.

2) Why did he claim it ? He claimed it so if Maak 'n Plan ran the person who backed Maak 'n Plan would pay a 35% deduction and not 20%. He did this out of spite. He was angry that someone else had got the best price on Maak 'n Plan.

As for Sean Miller. I am no lapdog. Remain humble my friend. It was not too long ago that you were just an assistant to your dad and out of the public spotlight. Remember that you are also training the best horseflesh money can buy in the poorest racing district of South Africa. Sleep well.

Titch, read my statement again. Can you read ? Jolly Along was scratched as predicted. What is bullocks ? I will not make any further statements on this subject. I have been assured that the National Bookmakers Association will be conducting a full enquiry into the matter.


Prominent owner and racing personality backs Maak n Plan in the last race. Prominent manager gets aggravated that his price was stolen and to mislead the entire public goes and claims Jolly Along 4 times so as to make it 16-10 knowing full well that it will be scratched it the morning.

So now a massive deduction will apply and he gets his revenge. Meantime we are all meant to study the card tonight and wonder which one is the right one in the stable.

This is one of the most selfish acts I have seen in my many years in the game. Lets not go blaming any bookmaker for doing this. You can all guess who is responsible and this from a man who comes on TV preaching that the industry needs to be improved.

Harris why do you avoid the obvious question and that is if the person you are accusing knew about JA being scratched then how come did he not know that MnP was also a non runner when the decision to scratch them both was made AT THE SAME TIME!!!!!! pull the other one its got bells on!!!!
