Royal Ascot

Starts on Tuesday looking forward to a great weeks racing and watching the worlds 2 best horses running..
Would just like to remind Cecil that the worlds best horse is called FRANKEL and not Fraklin like he is been calling him today..
My bet of the week is Opinion poll at around 9/2 to win the Gold Cup and remove Coolmores strangle hold on the race.

Scotia, when will that be flighted? Any idea? I'd like to watch, but their times are so erratic I've often given up and gone off to do something else by then.

Hi Mav probably at 8.00 on Monday night? I have to find a top hat before then.
I remember when we were growing up we were poor and had no clothes and my dad bought me a top hat so I could look out the window, if only I could remember where I put it?

Frankel fails to scare off rivals from the national horseracing website
Frankel will face 10 rivals when he puts his unbeaten record on the line in the Queen Anne Stakes in the opening race of Royal Ascot 2012 on Tuesday.
Sir Henry Cecil's colt has produced some stunning performances during his 10-race career to date and was ominously perhaps most impressive on his four-year-old debut in the Lockinge Stakes at Newbury.
Given he had suffered an early-season setback which threatened to end his career for a short time, he can be expected to have improved significantly for his latest mission and will be long odds-on to come out on top once again.
Cecil and owner Khalid Abdullah are also represented by Frankel's three-parts brother and likely pacemaker Bullet Train.
Perhaps Frankel's biggest threat is Aidan O'Brien's Excelebration, but the Lockinge runner-up has yet to seriously trouble the world's highest-rated racehorse in four previous encounters.
O'Brien also runs a pacemaker in Windsor Palace.
Strong Suit is an interesting contender for champion trainer Richard Hannon, making his first appearance of the season following some encouraging gallop reports.
Diomed Stakes winner Side Glance steps back up in class for Andrew Balding, with Premio Loco and Red Jazz other runners who will be aiming to pick up a share of some of the prize-money on offer.
Sir Mark Prescott's Worthadd, Godolphin's Helmet and German raider Indomito complete the field.

Scotia, seeing you in a top hat will be ... something to see. I hope you plan to wear something else as well.
I'm now wondering how I can skyve off work early for four days in a row. I can hardly admit I want to watch horse racing. As we all know it hasn't exactly got a squeaky-clean image around here. I could tell them my aunt has died, like that of the office boy on Derby Day ... no, this is genuine! 'strue's Bob! ... but I don't know when her funeral is.
Any suggestions, guys?
