He galloped at the big T and went well against Seal Gavin gives him a good chance taking a few form lines vs slumdog etc so worth an ew punt

i love him for the race..3 yr old..lightly raced..last race was headed by a good horse and then still came back to win in a very fast time..109 sec.. good draw..top trainer who knows how to win big races..top jock who knows how to win big races..very low weight..although he seems out at the weight I see it the other way as he's relatively unexposed..trainer also has several horses to get form lines but i feel thats not really necessary as he's up and coming..taken the 40/1 win and 9/1 place.

I only caught Ihla and Vettels gallops ths am before work. Like the way Ant did the psycological thing and made sure she finished in front. She seemed to travel better than her stable mate IMO.

Any comments on Beach Beauty anyone?

I was confident on Ilha Bela before today. After todays gallop nothing has changed. Del never moved on her. There is more to come from her. PJ, Jackson to fight out for 2nd place. As I said before Del/DeKock to make it 3 in a row & Slack to get her first July winner.

My late oldman had a dog which had a dog tag with the numbers 4 x 9 x 6 x 1 - The oldman used to play these numbers in just about everything. It hardly comes up in a quartet but this quartet is looking hot this year!

Not because i backed her, but IB put up the best gallop followed by Chesalon. Jackson may have posted the fastest times, however both Jackson and Polar Bound went "hard at it" from the 800m mark, that was plain for all to see. Had the Jackson pair gone at a brisk, then quickened going into the straight, then his time may have been in the late 22's, which may prove what some suspect, Jackson takes time to build up speed. Based on this, i think we will see a slow run July (from the other camps), trying to stack them up and then turning it into a sprint to the line. For Jackson to win, i think he needs a fast run race.

Hibs any chance of putting up gallops mate?

I have money on Ilha Bela allready. Something about this horse can't put my vinger on it....

Thirst , what are the chances of getting the overall time of each gallop ?

If they run slow and turn it into a sprint, then Castlethorpe must be in with a big chance. I have a feeling we are going to see an upset this year so my pics are Castlethorpe and Sage Throne.

Due to the various instructions given to the jocks do the times really count for much?
