The race is a compressed handicap i.e. (MR +100 = 60.0kgs), (58.0kgs = MR95-99), (56.0kgs = MR90-94), (54.0kgs = MR85-89), (52.0kgs = MR80-84), and so the scale drops. Some horses coming in at the lower end of their spread/band are out at the weights against their true MR allowance. On paper only horse 1, 2, and 3 should win this race.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.
